Adventures in Iceland

August 11, 2020

August 2020 and I am moving to Reykjavík, Iceland with my family. It's a big adventure for us. My Kids (who are half Icelandic) are 5 and 2 years old. They can't wait to uncover magic and wilderness. They plan to go in search of real trolls, sea monsters and elves. My eldest is keen to do lots of snowboarding. She started when she was 2 and is already better than me! My youngest doesn't like snow, so we have the summer to break him in gently.

I can't wait to find out what Iceland has in store for us - to have adventures together, learn Icelandic, watch my kids discover part of their culture and heritage and, of course, to eat new foods; though i may need to work my way up to sheep's eyeballs, pickled shark, and Putrefied Skate.
